Cats Saved from the streets living with a family in a house in Irpin, Ukraine

We are a family in Irpin, Ukraine, rescuing street cats since 2006. Our home became a sanctuary where every cat can roam free. During the siege of Irpin in 2022 we sheltered around 30 cats from the bombed Irpin Animal Shelter in our basement. Cat food alone costs us more than 20,000€ a year — 1€ feeds one cat for a day.
